State of the Cycle - THIRD WAVE
Things were quiet throughout the month of September, aside from an announcement that the Magic wing was open for training, that the head of Magical studies and security at HQ was willing to teach those apt to learn (post located here), and Something Happened. People started seeing things, then those things people were seeing started to bleed over and Everyone started seeing things, and experiencing things. What happened is anyone's guess. There are rumors milling around the NPCs that Airy isn't feeling well and may be in a coma, but what that may or may not explain hasn't really been discussed and no one seems to be talking. All the current rumors circulating HQ can be found here. The Magic training area opened up and details can be found in the locations page! The physical required to leave HQ can still be handwaved by players OR Rachel, the NPC in charge of the hospital, can be threaded with here if you'd like to play out the physical. NPCs can be asked for certain accommodations if they were not already provided, here, and also that characters can take jobs both inside and outside HQ to supplement their income! Reservations are now closed. Joins are open as of the 24th and run through the 3oth! Reminders will be posted about this date as well! We have a mod plurk located at September 28th-October 5th; With Airy out of commission, new arrivals find themselves appearing in seemingly random areas around HQ. October 6th-October 12th; Characters might actually believe themselves to be halucinating. Sometimes they hear things that no one else seemed to notice, they see things out of the corners of their eyes, reflections in mirrors, anything any everything, but they come quickly and disappear just as quickly. October 15th; Airy's back, and she seems fine! She's going to make some announcements about some things she's hosting later in the month...how is she fine...? October 23rd-25th; Airy's hosting pumpkin-carving in the cafeteria on the 23rd, will be accepting help with decorations in the Rec Room on the 25th, all in preparation for the big Halloween Party on the 31st (Event post will be up on the 28th) October 31st; Airy loves Halloween, and she wants to throw a huge party for everybody! Costumes are encouraged, but not required (even though you'll be sourpusses). It should be noted, something terribly horrible is going to happen at this party, and that will be revealed in the event log. It may or may not have anything to do with semi-sentient marshmallow men. There will also be games, food, and general Halloween-y stuff (and music. Like Monster Mash and Thriller).
